{Wedding Highlight ~ Alexa & Elliot}

Alexa and Elliot were married on July 16, 2011 at the Columbia Marriott. They had a Jewish ceremony followed by a gorgeous sit-down dinner. Everyone had such a fun time at this wedding… the couple even pulled me out on the dance floor for Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believin’’ during the reception. Favorite. Song. Ever!

The florals for this wedding were created by Grant Lorick and his creative team at Something Special Florist & Gifts on Main Street in Columbia, SC. We used beautiful sunflowers and tartan ribbon {to reflect Alexa’s Scottish heritage} throughout the ceremony and reception décor.

One of our favorite parts about the reception were the fun place cards – each guest had to pick up their very own vintage postcard featuring a National Park in the United States. {Hint, hint}… Alexa and Elliot traveled to these National Parks on their honeymoon! {love!}

We loved working with Alexa and Elliot as well as all of their talented vendors. Congratulations again to the beautiful couple and to their now family of three!

{WNOK Bridal Expo ~ Highlights & Drawing Winner!}

{Wedding Highlight ~ Jenna & Josh}

So, this is my favorite couple EVER. I’m not gonna lie…. Jenna is my best friend. Of course, they’re my favorite couple. I was honored to be Jenna’s Matron of Honor for her Spring nuptials that took place on April 30, 2011 {the very day after Princess Kate and Prince William said ‘I do!’} What a fabulous wedding weekend all around!

Jenna and Josh got married in a beautiful, historic church in downtown Wilmington, NC with a reception that followed at St. Thomas Preservation Hall. Her colors consisted of turquoise and white…. And we {loved} the Krispy Kreme wedding cake. I also personally enjoyed making the bride’s jewelry for her to wear… and she borrowed my hair comb as her ‘Something Borrowed’… we love you Jenna and Josh!

{Wedding Highlight – Lindsay Moore & Brian}

Lindsay Moore and Brian celebrated their one-year anniversary last month– congrats you two! Their gorgeous fall wedding was held on November 12, 2011 at St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lexington, SC with a reception that followed at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Columbia, SC.

The florals for this wedding were absolutely STUNNING! Scott Jones with American Floral did an amazing job creating high and low centerpieces for this sit-down dinner as well as constructing a dramatic, hydrangea-filled arch as you entered the ballroom. Simply gorgeous!

My favorite parts of this wedding were the gorgeous colors, linens and attention to detail. We added an orchid to each place setting that was also accented with custom menu cards, lush lamour napkins and silky Shantung linens.

We were also honored to have this wedding featured in the Carolina Bride Winter/Spring 2012 issue. What a gorgeous, gorgeous bride! Much love to Lindsay Moore & Brian on their first year of marriage.
